need 5 spd swap

hello 4th gen-ers. I myself am a third gen maxima owner, but a friend of mine in the CenTexNissan club has a 4th gen w/ auto tranny. his shifter control unit is gone bad, so instead of paying 800 for the unit, he just wants to swap to a manual. If anybody can offer some help, such as pictures, maybe even some advice on the hard parts of the swap (I've done it on my 3rd gen) that would be awesome, so I need:
manual tranny
shifter linkage
flywheel
clutch - if someone has a kit, I would gladly take it off your hands
tranny plate
manual tranny mounts
manual axles
clutch pedal assembly
brake pedal assembly (for manual car)
master cylinder, and lines of course
slave (if you don't include it w/ the tranny ur ghey)
and I think thats everything, probably the shift boot and cover for the interior. let me know as soon as possible. this car needs to get back on the road!! thanks
Z

Reuse the auto flywheel bolts...DO NOT use the longer manual flywheel bolts. Trust me.

seriously i just did my 5spd swap

http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=30

go there and enjoy - remember to get a 5spd computer so you dont get a cel the auto will work im still using mine but that orange light will make you wanna kill yourself.

also if your using an aftermarket flywheel get the timing ring off a stock one youll need it.

ok whoever says to use the auto flexplate bolts for the flywheel is dumb, they are about a 1/4 of an inch shorter..and you lose even more thread when us take into consideration little extra thickness of where the bolts go thru on the flywheel and that circle big washer thing..USE THE MANUAL ONES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE USED THERE!!! learn from my mistake!

Ok, since you're so smart, tell me why you couldn't use the auto bolts. There's plenty of thread to grab onto when they're bolted to the crank.

The reason I say use the auto bolts is because during my 5spd swap, the manual bolts bottomed out in my vq30 crank, therefore completely stripping all of the crank threads when I tried to pull them back out. And when I did pull them out, guess what? about 1/4" of thread was stripped from the manual flywheel bolts. They weren't even all the way in once the manual bolt bottomed out either. The flywheel was clanking side to side. I blame it on the fact that somehow when the crank was made, Nissan didn't bore the holes deep enough. Or mabye with my particular model year, the crank holes aren't bored as deep...but according to nissan fast, there is only one crank made for the vq30, and vq30de-k. They're both the same.

I know what you're going to ask...did I use the spacer. Yes, in fact, I did use the spacer WITH the auto bolts. Next question you're going to ask is if I got the correct manual flywheel bolts. Yes, I confirmed that the bolts were the correct part number through nissan fast. They are about 1/4" longer than the auto ones.

Finally, you CAN use the auto bolts on the 5spd swap. Why in the world would you want to spend 40 bucks on 8 bolts that you don't need to use? I and many other orgers have used the auto bolts with no problem. Don't call me dumb when you don't even know what experience I've had with 5spd/motor swaps on the maxima.

Also, please explain to me your mistake. I'd like to know what happend when you installed the auto bolts, or if you even did for that matter. I'm guessing you didn't.
