95/96 front bumper mod

I saw this car on vqpower.com for sale and it's got the 95 bumper but the middle valence seperator is cut away, im thinkin about doing this but i dont know how to go about covering the sides where it'll be a hole on each side from the missing bar.

it looks like after they covered it, they painted the inner part white as well, that used to be black, i'd rather keep mine black though.

Youll need to cut some of the metal bumper if you do this. Youll need some type of plastic/urethane repair. Urethane supply company makes a variety of stuff to repair bumpers.

i've seen that before and i thought that it looked pretty good. would be nice to have a big ol FMIC to show off in there, but even without that it looks pretty good. the only thing i would worry about is painting...

i had thought about doing that but I was unsure of how it would look... i think it looks nice!! I think it would look better on the 97-99 bumper, with the stillen lip.

i'd be curious to see...not sure of how it'd look on a 97 since it'd be square-ish.
that reminds me...there's another bumper MOD i saw on someones cardomain on a 97 bumper that i liked. the guy had the bumpmer lights shaved. let me try to find the pic.

i don't really like that 97 w/o the bumper lights and the front bumper filled in. it looses a bit of the aggressive look. i'm still liking the 95-96 cutout though

i dont see a pic^^
but i finally finished cutting out the bar. i did not realize the bumper support behind that bar was so fawkin big. it took me 3 days to cut it out. now i need an intercooler hahahahaha. nah bbut i think a piece of mesh might make it look a little better because it looks kinda dry right now. i need to clean up the sides and stuff before i cover the holes too.
