Get it professionally painted. It's not easy to paint lip kits.

Exhaust is easy if you kinda know what your doing and have all the correct tools.

Exhaust is easy, if you live in a area that gets a lot of snow, rain be prepared to deal with some rusted exhaust bolts.

What, spray paint it yourself!!!
You need to have the paint stripped & preped to paint it.
Take it to a body shop and have it done right.

It sounds like you don't have any mechanical experience, so I would have the exhaust done by an exhaust shop.

Oh ya, it looks like your Dad fell for that rig up you did.

Get professionally done. The paint that goes onto the kit will need to have flexagent in it to prevent spider cracks,or cracks in general.

If you've never done any kind of painting, let a shop do it. save the head ache.

from what I hear macco's main flaw in their ability to do a decent paint job is their prep. If you are dead set on taking it to macco to get painted. atleast prep it yourself, that leave them with just shooting paint. God help them if they cant do a half decent job of that for cheap.

i've painted a couple of lips myself. I've done my friend's mugen lips and type-R look a like lips, this would be the 2nd year since i painted it. It looks decent. Just get a compressor and a spray gun. Find decent paint, 2 primers, 1 quick base coat and 3 layers of w/e color and 3 clears. Over all the paint cost about 110$ but we did all 3 lips.

is the kit new? already primered?

prepping would be sanding it down, actually flex agent would need to go into all elements (bondo if needed, primer, and of course paint).
Let a shop take care of it, it will get to be a headache on your part, especially if you havent done it before.

Compressor + paint gun + paint = the price of a shop to do it with change left over. only difference is he could do touch ups on his own if he wanted to.

get your paint,
you'll need:
1. the adhesion promoter(primer doesnt stick to plastic so you need something it sticks to)
2. primer (paint sticks to primer)
3. basecoat (your paint color)
4. Clearcoat
5. rubbing compound (to make the paint shine)

and thats the order you use them in.. oh yeah, some forget to sand your parts before you paint them
