I curbed the EFF out of my wheel avoiding a DB that cut me off. I fixed the wheels and painted them gunmetal.

Let me know what ya think. Thanks.
I don't know why they have a red tint in the picture, they don't to the naked eye, maybe it's the red calipers reflection.. idk..

well, I found this site on how to fix a wheel with curb rash, http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext43.shtml and I basically used this as a guide, and then before I primered I scuffed the whole wheel with 220 grit sandpaper, then I cleaned the wheel with prep-all on a rag, then I did one coat of primer, sanded that with 400 grit then primered again, then I did 2 coats of gunmetal wet-sanded with 600 after both coats and then I did 2 coats of clear. (waited 10 mins between 1st and second coat of primer/paint/clear and after each type of paint I let it dry over night)

Good job. Couldn't you have put the wheel weight on the inside of the rim tough? I had them do it on my honeycombs even though one shop told me it couldn't be done. Another one did it and they look 1000% better.

here is a picture of the whole car. I have my spoiler off cuz I was fixing some CANCER.. Ya gotta HATE new england...
About the wheel weight.. I don't really care.. I am not that big a fan of these wheels to begin with, I have 5-spokes I need to get tires for.. I just did this for the meantime...

how the heck does the reflection of the red calipers appear on the OUTSIDE of the mag when the caliper is behind it???

looks great! I prefer the OEM Machine Diamond cut look... but these definately look great! good job!

Hey, thanks for the praise fellas! If anyone is considering painting their wheels, PM me and I can tell you all of the products I used and the processes I implimented.

Digitized - yah, it's not the calipers, I was wearing a red shirt when I took the picture... Also.. MAG only refers to MAGnesium wheels, and I'm almost certain that these wheels are ALUMINUM... ...haha knit picker...

Not bad, I like the color, they look nice. I have a Q though, what type of paint did you use? Spray can, spray gun? Brand? THanks

Hey MOHF, It's spray can - "Dupli-Color - High Performance Wheel Coating" I think the color is "Graphite" but I don't know for sure, I just kinda went with the color I liked the best. Also, I used the same "" brand Clear Coat. Best of Luck.
