Does the Upper Radiator Hose stay under pressure ?

I put in my DEK motor and I dont remember if the top rad hose felt soo much under pressure when I had my DE motor. I just wanna clear it just in case the upper thermostat is stuck (in the middle of the block) or I axcidently forgot to take a rag out of one of the coolant passages. I hope i didnt.

Well I let it get hot it seems to have some pressure but its not likt its about to bust or nothing. hope that helps

 

Thanks...I guess ill open it up and see if the thermostat is opening. On the 5th gen coolant log there is thermostat in the middle of the block
