starting issues

For a while now I have had trouble starting my car. I have to hold the gas to make it start, and it finally starts after 2 or 3 tries. It cranks but just dies. Sometimes the rpms jump a little as if I were revving very slightly and it dies(this only lasts for about 2 seconds). I have no codes and no CEL. I have new injectors and coilpacks as well.

I reallyu have no idea what the problem could be, batter, starter, alternator, etc. I think it has something to do with my fuel system. My fuel pump works because I can hear it when I turn the key 3/4. Any insight would be appreciated. I read somewhere I think CMAX said to run a peice of wire from the tranny bolt to somewhere else and that fixed someone problem, I just need some advice from people who have had this problem, maybe thats all I need to do. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Starting issue

I have that as well..
There was a thread about a guy who had same issues and replaced all kinds of stuff and it never resolved the issue...
He then proceed to ground his tranny and voila problem fixed...

I still have to ground my tranny, but I to think it's the fuel pump.. I hear my come on as well.. however, when I leave the key on accessory, I can gain back as much as 1/8 of a tank of gas... is that normal ?
could that be a sign of a defective fuel pump?
