Can someone please link me to a thread on how to test the coil pack and replacing them...i have this problem when the car barely move under 5 mph the car shake violently...like the engine gonna falls off...then about 10mph it went away...and also coming to a stop...when it is barely just above idle...i have a CEL for knock sensor and idle air temp but i always have these code and it was never this bad...please help guys...i cant "search" because the fuction is disabled for my account..

Usually a code would pop up for a misfire.

 

Well first of all get a Haynes Manuel for you maxima, they tell you all sorts of good stuff (like how to test a coil pack)

could be allot of things, I would start by checking spark plugs, then coil packs

if you’re knock sensor is dead you need to be using high grade gas, this could cause issues also

I had similar issue twice, it was a my sparkplug and then my UDP flew off


and a code never poped up

 

Maybee u need to change ur sparkplug im suggesting u to change with NGK go to a nissan dealer it coz me like $11.99 each dont get anything from autozone like the denso irodium coz when i bought my denso my engine sounds different.So i deside to go to nissan dealer and buy NGK my car running gud but if ur car still running desame the dealer can check it for u for $96.00 to check wats the problem.
