EGR Valve

I had a EGR Valve malfunction code. I replaced the EGR Valve and cleaned the throtle body and upper intake. After starting the car back up I have a 1,500 rpm idle in park and a 1,000 rpm in gear. I thought it might correct itself after driving it for a bit, but it is still the same after 100 miles. I am not getting any CEL codes. Can any one help me with this problem? Has any one run into this problem also? Please help me if you can.

In the stickys under "How to" See Cleaning IAC valve under 60K service. It has instructions for setting idle speed. Might help.

I just got done taking off the throtle body and EGR valve again to make sure I didn't miss anything. I put on all new rubber hoses this time to no avail. Does anyone know how to readjust the the idle? Or does the throtle sensor do that? Someonje HELP!!!!
