hid question

Guys I am getting a set of 9004 6000k hid's and want to know how much of a difference there is from the nokya bulbs that I have now to the hid's i will be getting. Will the output be much better? Will the road light up more. I cant see crap with the nokya 7500k bulbs. Thanks again.

There's never going to be a massive difference between output when it comes to halogen. Chances are the "7500k" and "6000k" those bulbs are rated at are not by any real standard, and they could even end up being the same exact color and everything once you actually get them.

If you want output, colored bulbs are the wrong place to be looking. You're also confusing me...your thread title states HID yet you say 9004, which is halogen. Or are you referring to re-based HID capsules?

I guess I am a little confused also. I think the hids are 9004 plug and play.

So they are indeed HIDs then? Since you got a kit, they'd be re-based to 9004. 7500k to 6000k isn't going to be a huge difference in visibility, but you will notice. If you truly want visibility, go 4300k, or atleast 5000k.

Gahh, I had to reread the original post again, sorry. Yes, go with the HIDs. Pretty much anything HID is going to have more output than anything halogen. I thought we were comparing halogen to halogen, d'oh lol.

GET A GLARE SHIELD, though. Or make one. PLEASE.
