antenna question

anyone know how i can disconnect the antenna
i hate how it goes up when i dont even use the radio.

my friend told me i can just disconnect the power to it?

Your antenna goes up when you don't use the radio? I guess you have an aftermarket radio? When I had my stock Bose the antenna retracted when the cassette or CD was used. (not any more).
You can either disconnect from the back of the HU or disconnect the wire from the antenna motor itself. Remove or pull back the trim panel on the right side of the trunk. There is a connector on the left hand side of the power antenna assembly. Pull that, and you're done.
