Decided to clean up..

yeah so I finally painted the spark plug cover and the caps to the coolant reservoir and the others. painted the radiator clips and just cleaned up a lot. I also cleaned the interior a bit and added some things. anyways I did all of this in lieu of seeing JSutters thread on the MEVI which I've been debating on whether or not to order. so next week I'll be ordering that and then KSports to follow. I'll post up once I add those things as well. I also threw the down-pipe to the PRCAI back on, as I was running PR short-ram due to heavy rain. The last two pics are to show what Digital's Cefiro Clone Mod looks like at night.

As you can tell I have a shaky hand probably due to my dad geting exposed to vast amounts of agent orange in vietnam lol.

Lose the blue tubes.

in lieu means as a substitute, or in place of. Speak English.

Perhaps if you said "as a resultant" you could have maintained the psuedo-intellectual self esteem booster.

Looks good, I'd polish the valve cover and either paint the CAI black or get it chrome to match the engine bay.

BigLou93SE- I decided to sell the 280zx because I realized the car I was after was the older 280z.. which is a different ball game in certain ways. Also I sold my RB25 that was ready to go in and paid off some debt I owed to my parents. But don't lose hope I'll come up with something else equally as fun haha.

Ethnic6 - thats the Nismo RN/Z-tune shift ****.

MaximaSE96 and Ethnic 6- the boot is an eBay boot that took some modding to get to fit as I'm guessing its not usually for maximas. I used staples and copied the design of the stock boot.

Fr33way(insert snide post-***** comment here lol) -I got my PRCAI brand new for $99 from Cattman because it was blue lol, can you say the same?.. perhaps you can. anyways I hate it just as much as you, although if you've seen pics of my car and engine bay I love blacked out things. So I'll be painting the down-pipe and mid-pipe black.

99grnmaxgxe- I'll be powder-caoting the valve cover once I recieve the MEVI and its near ready to be installed, most likely black or chrome. thanks though, its in the works.

Aw man, sorry to hear. Good luck finding another project. Are you looking currently, or are you holding off on getting a new project for a while? Haha, chances are you'll have a running project car before I do...I'm five hours away from my currently zero overhead cam, 3 cylinder beast, and can't do sht to it. I keep finding great deals on SOHC engines, but can't take advantage of it which is really terrible. Worst part: my breaks from school (thanksgiving, xmas, etc) are only one-two weeks long, so not really enough time to work on the car, spend time with my family, friends, and girlfriend and relax from school at the same time. Unless of course, I transfer to a semester school from my trimester school...then I'll have the time come Thanksgiving break. Btw, do you have any pics of that Z that you just sold? I'm just praying nothing goes wrong with my Maxima...not even a week into school, this dumb as. b.... backed into my car in the middle of an intersection, so now I have to go get an estimate for the damage. Ahh well.

thats quite a story BigLou haha.. I have faith in you. As far as a project car, I might import a Nissan Laurel eventually, but I don't have ton of money. I just have a friend over in JP could ship me a shell for not all that much and I'd probably just stick a VG30 in there to pass the one time DOT spec for FL. Then, RB25 (get em for around 4k) and throw that beast in there. Expensive but thats my dream, all I'd need is a small loan and I could still do it for less than the 350z track edition haha.

good luck friend.

Post *****? It was help with English, not just Maximas

I wasn't knocking the water pipes, I was just saying if they were black you would have a really good look going (as in everything else looks good).

Do you have a closer view of that shift pattern sticker on the shifter trim? It seems to match pretty well and sometimes I forget where to put the stick thing.

Seat belts...well, would be a good idea.

To be honest with you, anything and everything you do in that car, record it haha. I'll take any and all of the above mentioned forms of vehicular amusement, but I'm a fan of in car vids. However, get some damn seatbelts in that car...I don't want to encourage you without *some* kind of safety...haha

edit: to keep this post on topic as I can haha, again Apparition, your car looks good.

BigLou- np with the OT, even if its redundant I like to hear that my car looks better than Fr33way's or gets more compliments.

I have STS/ACT stage 1/UDP and have been on a few different suspension setups, one of them being D2 Racing Sports.

Anyone have their rear beam bent? Oh thats right.....

I do like Sutter's car but I swear I'm not copying it.

As for now, school > me. Car stays as is.
