Suspension install question

I recently bought some tokico illuminas and tein s. techs for my maxima, I called a few places around town asking for quotes, one shop said 7 hours and $450, another said 14 and $612, I don't know what the deal is, a suspension shouldn't take that long. How long did it take you guys?

I'm thinking about just letting one of my friends help me do it. What do you all say?

that's what I thought, the only problem is that I want them on by tomorrow, Super Street is rolling through town on their tour to Nopi, and my maxima is basically stock, how long should it take to swap the suspension?

About 4 hours taking your time with hand tools.

If I took 7 hours doing a suspension I would be drunk by the end of it.

3-4 hours tops without any problems. DIY and save money. plus you'll learn how to do it. dont forget a spring compressor! and hope that the top nut doesnt spin along with the shaft...

I meant I would be drunk....

Mr.****s95SE Loosen the top hat nuts before you pull the assemblies = no turning with the strut.

do yourself a favor and buy new top mounts. youll cut your time almost by half since you wont have to use those cheap *** portable spring compressors. plus youll have your whole stock setup for back up.
