90K question

90K question
Hi all,
My car is at 82K right now - 90K would be up in about 6 months or so.
What parts / brands should I order for the service, and what should I do?
Obviously - plugs, coils, air filter, fuel filter, water pump... but what else?
Thanks
edit: on a side note - how hard is it to buy and wire up OEM fog lights?

What you need to do at 90K is a function of what you did at 60K and beyond.
If you replaced the plugs at 60K with OEM platinum plugs you are still good to go. If the plugs were replaced with coppers, you may need to replace them.
If you have already replaced belts, you are still good to go. If no hoses have been replaced you might want to consider replacing them.
I suspect you should replace the fuel filter. It should be done every 30K. Replace the PCV valve if it hasn't already been replaced. If it has been replaced you are good to go.
Replace the air filter if necessary.
When was the last time the brakes were bled?
Was the radiator coolant and transmission fluid replaced at 60K? If so, it should be replaced again.
Has the power steering fluid ever been replaced? If not, replace it.
You might want to clean the throttle body and idle air control valve.
If the coils are working fine, leave them alone.
02 sensors and knock sensors should be replaced on an as needed basis. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

IIRC, the guy did change fluids, but only radiator fluid. I am gonna flush it anyway.
I think I might as well give it an all around tune up just to be on the safe side; gonna get valves adjusted as well.
I'll get new power steering fluid and i am having new brake pads coming in.

Signal Light
I have a 98 Maxima and about 1 month ago whenever I hit the signal light (right or left) the light blinks but also makes some type of "pinging" sound in addition to the normal "clicking" sound you hear. Any ideas what this is and how I can fix it?
Thanks

i would add:
- brake fluid should be completely flushed (not just bled) every 3 years.
- do not mix coolant types. when in doubt, do a complete flush and replace with any of the Japanese OEM coolants or Zerex G05.
- flush the trany fluid (not just drain/fill). go to the fluids forum for DIY instructions.
forget the water pump and valve adjustment. not needed at 90k.
