Rattling from Budget Y-pipe

Hey guys, a few years back I added a Budget Y-pipe and just this month I added a Greddy SP2 cattback. There's just one problem now. Ever since I've installed the cattback, I get this rattling that seems to be coming from my y-pipe. It's most pronounced when I first start the car and take off. After about 15 minutes of driving, it will usually go away. My question is, is this the 'bees in the can' that everyone was talking about ? If it is, why is it only AFTER i've installed the cattback ? ANyone have any ideas what it could be and how to get rid of it ? Thanks !!! BTW, mine's a '98 SE.

I have the noise also, it seems to be coming form the flex section. I'm thinking about wrapping it with exhaust wrap, but i don't want it to rust.

check the rings on each end of the flex section, they may have broken loose. if so cut them off. also check the converter shield, same thing if its loose.

Have a muffler shop put the car on the rack and inspect it. Doesn't cost anything to do that.

I had the same problem. After an inspection I had to get new rubber bushings for the exhaust hangers.

Rattle

I have the same problem. I have tightened everything up and made sure all the brackets are on and still the same thing. I guess now I'm just used to it.
