Best place for bodykit?

I want to get a body kit for my maxima soon, I bought my maxima recently and there was a few dents and sratches on the fender. I also want to replace the front fenders when I do the body kit. Whats the best place to buy a body kit from? I've been looking on ebay and I like the skyline body kits for the 96 max. I might also do the dual exhaust in the future so I would probably get one with the 2 openings in the back for the exhaust. Also how much does it usually cost to have it painted?

The painting all depends were you go...Maaco can do it...but you will get crap. I'm pretty sure there in TX are a lot of paint shops....anything over 700 to paint and install is too much.

don't get a body kit (especially if it is fiberglass) unless everything in your town is flat and there are no inclines anywhere and you don't have to go up any hills or slopes EVER! but if none of that applies, then go for it. i had a body kit on my car when i got it and it was alright for about a month, then i realized how much of a hassle it was and it eventually broke apart BECAUSE IT'S RICER JUNK that is my opinion, my car is all stock now

*****IF**** you decide to actually get one, first take some time and see what you like, I would advise looking at some of the really nice ones here on the .org and see if u like any of what they have done. Personally the skyline front bumper looks terrible. the back has too much going on because of those 3 or so straight piece things. Take a look at the stillen kit, because for 1 its urethane, and 2 it looks really classy and nice. For something a little more look at the ionic kit, the sides and rears are different, they have a little more body to them. you can actually tell you have a kit. The stillen one looks like it could have come stock because it goes with the lines and curves of the car so well. if you do either stillen, or ionic, do the 97-99 front end conversion because those lips look better...the ionic kit is cheaper and fiberglass(easier to break)...stillen more expensive and urethane(doesnt break anywhere as easy) I did break my stillen front lip tho..so it will crack. but they are a pain to keep nice. you always have to be xtra careful driving and you cant drive certain places, a lot of which you could if you didnt have the kit. and you better drop the max b4 the kit!

if ur going to get a bodykit, get the stillen its the most tasteful bodykit out there without turning ur car into a complete rice festival... but seriously, if u want, just replace ur fenders, dont worry about a body kit right now, do the fun stuff like for the performance of the car

I really like the new Ionic lip so I'd go with that. My plan at least, with either stillen or ionic skirts and rear.

Thanks for all the info guys, as for hills, San Antonio is all hills. They are everywhere, especially on the side of town I live on. I haven't lowered my car yet, I just got the maxima a few weeks ago and want to start modding it. I was considering the idea of a body kit to start off. I'm thinking I'll start off with new rims first, the ones I have are the 15 inch ones and they look horrible. The clear coat on them is peeling. I think the g35 rims would look good on it. I got a HID kit that is coming today which will be my second mod, and a CAI coming next week.

CAI isnt worth it, dont do rims without a drop, and hid...well sure that always looks good haha. Drop it first, then rims, then whatever else.

I like the stillen kit....nice and simple, but I think its pricey!! I ended getting the Ionic kit and I'm ahppy with it! El Paso streets are nasty so I am cautious of breaking it but I lifted my car up about half and inch and I have never scraped it. I actually once hit a nasty dip in the road going 80mph and my front lip didnt even scrape.... I guess it all depends on how low you have/want your car and how sturdy your suspension is.
Final thought:
Stillen is the best-- but get the ionic if you dont want to fork up so much cash.

Not to steal your thunder, but how is the cyber and omega kit? Someone hit and run my car a few days ago and total damage was my rear bumper was literally ripped off the hinges and is totally messed up. I got quotted a place that will give me the part + install for 500. I gotta go somewhere else to paint. I may just go for it because it sounds like a good deal and my front bumper has a big scrape on the drivers side too.

By the way, how much is a good price for just paint?

It's all your preference. I hate both the cyber and omega kits. Way to flashy and rice on the max. Most people will tell you stillen or ionic (like everyone in this post). Quality is better and looks much nicer. If you like the cyber or omega go for it. It's your car. Painting for the kit should be a couple hundred. Depends where you go really. Talk to some guys from CA and see where they went.

I'm seriously considering the Cyber or Omega because the guy says he'll give me the kit + install for 500. Is that a good deal or am I just too ignorant to know.

Price wise yeah its a good deal. But its a bad kit haha. If you like it then jump on it. I just dont like it and I believe they break very easily. Might want to check into that frst.

Well all over the org for one. 915 Max posted in this thread with the ionic kit on. Go to the stillen website for their pics, and ionic dynamics site for their pics.

check memoryfab for pics. they only have kits for cefiro/i30 so you have to do a front end conversion: hood, fenders, and use the new kits bumper. plus u can use the cefiro headlights without gap issues

Stillen-flexability > all others-fiberglass. The poly isn't induestructable but it takes a beating if you are worried about scraping things, etc.

that memoryfab is sweet. I have yet to see an i30 front end redo tho. Im not sure how it would look with a regular 4th gen kit in the back and skirts with that front end conversion. Any pics you know of?

So I have a question. I know it's pretty lame and shouldn't be done, but my girlfriend has the stock aero kit for her Camry and the rear bumper parts look similar to the Stillen ones. Has anyone ever tried to custom fit those?
