Question on throttle response

i just bought my max like a week ago

so ive been looking out for certain things.. being cautious to see what can be wrong. i feel like when i drive i feel a slight delay on the response (auto tranny). i dont know if this is normal and me being paranoid or from the mechanic tweaking around on the tranny before selling it to me.

i dont know if its driving my hoopty crown vic for years and coming to nissan max thats throwing me off?

My 97 SE 5-speed revs instantly when I touch the throttle. Too sensitive if you ask me, just like the brakes. My Saab 9-5 requires what seems like 1/2 throttle just to start moving, but the maxima is off instantly. I also have a Fidanza flywheel so that makes the revs happen ultra quick, but even when it was stock there was no delay. Hope this helps a little.
