bored with the max

well its been two years now since ive had the max. bought it used after the insurance cut me a check for my wrecked civic. its been fun and all, but its boring now. i have no urge to buy another manual and i hate the orange check engine light. knock sensor is bad but damn **** is so hard to get to. was going to change it out when i installed the polished im. as of right now heres the list of parts sitting in the garage that i have compiled ready to install, but really gauging on selling it all and get a lexo or something else:

random t3/t4 with super vtrim turbo, pwr ic, tial bov, random walbro hp fuel pump, upgraded fuel pump wiring, deatschwerks injectors rated at 615cc with new orings, aem fpr, z32maf, polished and bored out im with new upper and lower gaskets, oversized tb, autometer gauges(pyrometer, oil pressure, boost meter), greddy emanage, greddy profecb spec2 bc, b&m sts, chrome window trim and door handles, jwt hard springs and retainers, rps max series clutch, vibrant sp 3" muffler, and oh cant forget the damn knock sensor.

stuff i already have on the car: tein coilovers, brembo slotted rotors all around, cattman ypipe, set of club linea 18's and 17" bbs wheels, killer stereo, and random hid kit.

heres the bummer, did a nice little 3500rpm launch and wheel wells are covered in a thick grease, damn ks, its an old car, and manuals are not the best when driving around with a girl in the passenger seat . i loved the car when i first got it. maybe time to part out and move on. crazy rant.

hook me up with that turbo haha.
i donno what to tell you though, if your bored, your bored. It sounds sad...to be bored. I guess it depends on your preference, some people just need that new thing to keep them going or give them something to look forward to. Personally, i just like to improve on what i already have.
and oh yeah, are the rotors zinc coated?

So you had plan on installing all these parts;
random t3/t4 with super vtrim turbo, pwr ic, tial bov, random walbro hp fuel pump, upgraded fuel pump wiring, deatschwerks injectors rated at 615cc with new orings, aem fpr, z32maf, polished and bored out im with new upper and lower gaskets, oversized tb, autometer gauges(pyrometer, oil pressure, boost meter), greddy emanage, greddy profecb spec2 bc, b&m sts, chrome window trim and door handles, jwt hard springs and retainers, rps max series clutch, vibrant sp 3" muffler

But havent changed out your KS because its hard to get to?
BTW,
did a nice little 3500rpm launch and wheel wells are covered in a thick grease, damn ks,
The KS doesnt have anything to do with that grease, check you cv boots.

Yeah^ I was wondering why he said "damn ks" after he said something about grease.
Its not a matter of whether its possible or not...its just how much effort you are willing to put into it.

If you fix your ks and actually install all those parts you might surprise yourself with how much you like your car again. Cruising in my brother's 5spd turbo I30 is a wholly different experience than driving in my Max (although I still love it!), especially when you get to play with Evos and M3s whereas I'm stuck more with v6 mustangs and family sedans...

If I had the money for all of those parts I'd be in heaven. I'd install all of it and love it. I don't feel bad for you one bit. Just plain lazyness!

So knock sensors and axles are the worst of the problems?

LOLz @ you going turbo if those are issues for you.

When I drive my 5 speed with STS and ACT clutch I never hear complaints from female passengers, some even like it.

haha well my buddy sold his shop so i dont have access air tools. other wise i would of installed everything. well the ks and axles are totally different issues. ks was awhile back and axles just from racing kid in crustang. he thought he could take me. turbo has been waiting because of the whole shop issue. no one to make me a manifold. but ive been looking at either the is300, gs300, or sc300. oh yeah the whole stick issue, every time i have to shift i have to use my hand that could of been somewhere else yeah boy.

maybe your just bored of seeing all those parts on the floor and not on the Maxx.
If I had that stuff... i'd be excited!

Put them on and I'll guarantee your boredom will become excitment and full of adrenaline rushes!!

Its not fun when parts are on the floor, collecting dust.

what kind of problems are those?! I got my time changing a knock sensor down to 5:38 seconds and I do not have small hands, I had blood running down a few fingers.. grab a beer and get to work, and stop being a panzy.

CV's and KS are not a big deal, get it done.

3. a person or thing that preys, esp. greedily or unscrupulously: That vulture would sell out his best friend.

I don't see the logic....you're bored with your car, which is a MANUAL, and you want to switch to an AUTOMATIC....i dont think that will help your issue!
