Tranny shifts harder with a/c on?

Just thought I would mention this and see if anyone else has had this happen.. When my a/c is on my car has a little less get up and go (which is expected) but when it shifts from 1st to 2nd I get this hard jerking shift... One time I got on it kinda hard (to about 5500rpm) and the front tires almost chirped... With the a/c off I get somewhat hard shifts from time to time but nothing like with it on.... Maybe it's due to the 176k miles on the tranny??

Both my maximas have done this when my ac is on about 50% always from first to second as you stated, im not going fast but it happens to me sometimes around 2000ish rpm when im in a parking lot accelerating then i ease of the gas, thats always what happens it jerks the whole car.

I just thought it was kinda funny, I really don't like autos anyway.. I just kinda got stuck with this one... But I have grown to love it.. Hope to get 200k+ from the auto tranny...
