Well it finally got me, 0304...anyways i have 93k so i knew it would show up any day. anyways wheres the best place to get one?
And i also have 0705, evap control system, any chance that could be caused by the KS code?
Thanks guys

Fun isnt it?
Another question to tack on, anyone have the resistor # to trick the ECU around the KS? i looked but couldnt find it, and does anyone run one of these all the time? if i always use premium would it be a problem?

4th gen FAQ: post #41:
the resistor is a 470k-can get them from radioshak. yes you can still get detonation no matter what fuel you use if you lug the engine down or if it is really hot with the resistor in: not a good idea to have on all the time just be careful and get the ks put in as soon as you can.

Ok so yesterday when i got the SES light, i checked the codes, reset the light, and tightended up the fuel cap, so far i have no light again ( i put like 20 miles on it) but i just checked and there was no 0304 either, think im ok, or will it come back in more miles??
Thanks

my experience is that the KS code will come back immediately when you next start the car (but will not trigger the CEL). since you no longer have the code you may be OK - but i don't think it had anything to do with your gas cap. more likely an intermittent failure mode with the KS (weak ground, or just a flaky KS). i would go ahead an replace it anyway. any yes, the part in your link above is the right P/N and looks exactly like the OEM part (same markings, etc) - assuming that's a representative picture of what they send you. and that's a good price too. I'd go for it.
I can't comment on the evap code.

your ks code will probly come back, if it tripped once it will come one again more than likley...
as far as your light coming back on, if we have the same EVAP code, then it may take a while to come back on. when I turn my SES light off, sometimes it takes a few days to mess up again, just depends on how bad the problem is. just letting you know you may not be out of the woods yet...
and yes the ks from the link above will work, I think I am gonna get the same one.

I got my KS from ebay for $45 shipped (it was on sale and now this guy sells them for 60).
After I replaced it I got 0705 Evap control system and 0903 Evap canister vent control valve.
Then after a few weeks the 0903 code dissapeared and only 0705 remains as a ghost code.
I heard someone had to replace the evaporative canister to fix the problem.
