Questions about blower motor resistor..

Does the whole blower motor have to be taken out and the board resoldered as stated in the faq or is there something else that needs to be done?

Only the board needs to come out. There is two screws holding it on.

yeah, real easy, just look under your dash on passanger side on the bottom of the a/c unit, and in the middle towards the back you'll see a plug with two screws on the side of it. gl

Scrape off the old solder and put a fresh layer on each spot?

Update:
I scraped off the old solder points/dots and put fresh solder on. The soldering was kinda rough but it worked. Better than $53 that the dealers here were asking.
