Well out here in utah me and 2 of my friends were cruising on home from teh Fast and the furious..i liked it again!!!

Anywho...so i'm driving all slow waiting for some cars to cathc up that would wnat to race...then after driving like a grandma a nice black porche boxter pulled up next to us. Let me point out that we were going about 30mph, and that it was not a dead stop.. back to teh action--so he and i lock eyes on each other and he guns it first...I being the person looking for the race was just keeping teh car in 2nd to get ready and punch it. We were off, i could tell the boxter was an automagic...i heared the slow and somewhat smooth downshift. To be honest he got me in the first little jump...i started to cathc up near the end of my RPMS in 2nd..he shifted a second before i did and that is when i past him---then as we all know i hit 3rd gear and pulled on him even more...only to SLAM on my brakes in fear of cops

On another note...i beat a civic too...but no reall bragging rights there....the guy in the car was wiht his girl and at the next light after we raced he just put his hands up in the air and yelled out "what did u want me to do" --i did the smile and thumbs up

 

good story, about how much power do boxsters have?

 

Isn't the low end boxster like 160 hp?

nope...not 160....actually 201 hp.....pretty sad for a Porsche....and with the auto...it is lucky to do low 7s 0-60.

 

boxter s will kill ya though...watch out like 480 i think i know one of them has 480 ?

 

480!!! ARE YOU NUTS!!! not even a 911 Turbo has 480hp....the Boxster S has 250 hp I believe...but I'm not sure..so don't flame, and yes it is quick.
