Windows wont clean!

i had my tints put on today,20% all around, they look great but for some reason they look really dirty. I'm not talking about the first few days look where there are streaks, i'm talking about about what dirty spotted windows look like. The spots just wont seem to clean or come off, as if they are there for good. Any one know how i can get the mess away so it doesnt make the tints look crapy? much appreciated!

Dont touch the tints for 3 days, then if its still there then go back to the place that did your tints.

If the tint is ok, use newspaper and NON amonia based glass cleaner. Works great.

No kidding.

Sounds like they did not clean you windows before install. Use 1/4 white vinegar and 3/4 water with newspaper or paper towels. vinegar and water is better than any window cleaner you can buy. If that doesn't work, then go back to the tint shop and get your money back/re-tint. I just did my own tint on my Saab, and boy was it a PITA. I mean $h1+

Just use soap and water, spray some oxiclean on it and let it sit for 5 minutes and you will be alright

I say you should wait a few days. The glue behind the tint has to setting and dry. If it doesn't go away within 4 days go to the tint place and tell them to fix it.

Is it on the inside or outside? If its on the outside try some of the suggestions given above. If none of them work try Claybar.

Are the spots on the outside?

If it's hard water spots on the outside, just use 000 steel wool and buff them off.

ok dont use oxyclean.....I use Clear Glass. It's safe on tints and works great. Clean both inside and outside, and if the spots are still there then it means they didnt clean the windows before they tinted it. May need to have them redone.

Why is it that Newspapers do SUCH a good job?

you'd think the Ink would have some affect on the windows.

Mystery...
