i found a station that sells 91 octane

i guess most people put in 93 because they have to choose between that or 89. well today i found a Sunoco station on rt 46 in NJ, right off broad ave. of palisades park. they have 91 as well as 93 ultra. $2.559 for the 91 and $2.599 for the 93.

even tho i am broke, i filled it up with 91, especially bc the price was so low. 93 at other places was going for about $2.699.

i never understood how gas pricing worked. rt 46 has a stretch of massive gas stations. they have 3 sunocos within 1 mile of highway. 93 octane was 2.719 at one, 2.619 at another, and the one i went to 2.599. weird?

dude theres a sunoco on ryders lane, few minutes off douglas campus, offers 91. if you just ask for super, they'll put in 91 instead of 93. so depending on what u get, specify.

I used to have a sweat job working at a sunoco. So I know all about the 91 and why they offer it. They used to have 94 octane but had to take it off the market. So in order to have four grades of gas they added 91. However they only have two different kinds of gas stored in the ground. They have 87 and 93. 89 and 91 are a mixture of 87 and 93. I had always used 94 until it was discontinued, now I only use sunoco 93.
