**update, EGR Code came back**

Recently, I decided to pull the codes since my check engine light has been on for a few months now ( 2-3 months)...
It was 0302 and 0304
0302- EGR issues
0304- Knock sensor...

I decided to replace my KS and reset the ecu... no more codes..

my question is, can a faulty KS cause the EGR code to appear? it's been 2 days, no check engine light is back on... I am assuming the KS was the culprit for displaying the 0302 code as well?

anyone can confirm? cause according to the ECU sticky in the 4th gen forum, 0302 doesn't mention that it could be KS related...

Give it a little while. The EGR code will Most likely come back after more cycles.

 

dang bro, i'm looking at the time at your post and the time my CEL light came back on tonight... why didja have to jinx me?

but seriously, this 0302 code is making me go crazy the only thing left I haven't done yet is clean the EGR pipe ( the one where the EGR temp sensor is connected to)... can't seem to reach to clean... guess ima try again this weekend
