Green with Tan Leather
I see a Maxima for sale. It says green with tan leather and no other information. Can I assume that is certainly a GLE with an automatic transmission? Or could it possibly be 5 speed? I might call the guy tomorrow...
Thanks,
Aaron

I got a 96 dark green 5 spd with tan leather. I wanted to paint it black eventually and put a black interior in but the green is starting to grow on me. All my friends like the green and tell me to keep it green. At night it looks black but in the daytime it looks dark green. I still want to do something with the interior though. The tan is nice but I don't like the brown dash. 2 of the times i've been pulled over and gotten a ticket the cops wrote down black instead of green and I was able to get them both dropped cause the cop wrote down false information.

I am not sure if the colors are the same in the US and Canada. I have a 95SE, 5-speed, with a tan interior. The exterior is called Black Emerald and the paint code is DJ2. On a dull day the car looks black and on a sunny day the car looks dark green with a metal flake in the paint. I quite like the color to this day and am not bothered about having a tan interior. The seats are leather and don't get as hot as black would in the summer and the front seats are both heated which is nice in colder weather.
My 5-speed tranny is limited-slip differential (LSD) as it is a Canadian model which is not prone to the dreaded differential bearing failure.

I have an automatic 97 green SE with tan leather interior. Electric seats, sunroof, simulated wood, white gauges. I think it has all the options except the homelink. Everybody that gets in likes it and they are amazed when I tell them its almost 10 years old.

wtf its only 600 bucks..i would jump on it, my mom's friend had an issue with the title. i dont think getting a new title for the car would be difficult, probably just time consuming..600$ is not bad for a parts car anyways..

It's a keeper. Take care of it and it will last years to come. That car should be worth more to you than any potential buyer would be willing to pay for it.

It is a good car, no problems whats so ever, fast enough for me to spank ricers, and its prob. the only Max left that is Bone Stock, i mean not even tints.. lol
but i just have a few mods in mind (tints,cefiros,hids,red/clear tails, ypipe, g35exhaust) maybe 18" G35rims down the road

why dont you just go see the car and if it looks like its worth more than 600, get it. i dont understand why your asking us if you should get a car when all we know is the year, tranny and color. there are alot more deciding factors than those when getting a car.
