spark plug gapping

Do the NGK coppers for the 4th gens come pre-gapped to spec or do we need to gap them before installing? They say like 1.1mm or .40, whatever you like. I checked them with a gap tool and they seemed fairly on-point. But do they need to be gapped? I just installed them after I threw a 0603 for a bad 6th cylinder and just replaced them all but the car still sputters a bit, but it's better than before. Any help much appreciated.
-Also, they seem a bit hard to gap without breaking or damaging them!

All spark plugs require gapping before installation.

I just replaced all 6 plugs. still the same code: cylinder 6 misfire...I checked the resistence on all coilpacks and the all checked out fine...what could be causing this misfire? I got a gapper though, but the plugs factory gap was just a hair off from spec btw. If all the plugs were not gapped right, would I still only get a cylinder 6 misfire code?

if the part number has a -11 after its already pregapped to .44 which is factory spec. Now to help reduce that knock which I think is too late already, try to reduce the gap to maybe .38-.36 or so and see what happens.

I had the same problem.

You have to gap them to 0.044 inch.

Don't put too much anti-seize on the threads and don't apply too much torque on the plugs , they have to be just snug.

Copper, Platinum, Iridium, doesn't matter, Ive always found at least 1 off measurement. Don't use those cheap generic plug gappers, get a set of feeler gauges and do it right.

They will come pre-gapped, but you always want to check the gap just to be sure that all that knocking around during shipping didn't change anything.

All spark plugs come pregapped from the factory, but not pregapped specifically for your car. Different cars need different gaps. Nissan requires a 0.044 gap. Different gap may work fine but it's not the optimal setting for your car. Get the gapping tool and set the gap.
I used the Strauss .99c one and it worked perfect.

Yes , that's the copper plugs and they are perfect and cost only $12 per set of six.
