Auto Climate control

I have a quick question, when i turn on my heater, i can't control the temperature. Ok, mine is in Celsius so it starts at 18* and goes up to 32*. Ususally, if u leave it on 24* you're just right in the car. THe thing is, on the 99 when i put it to 18.5*, it's like if it's maxed out at 32*....So it's either to hot or too cold...can anyone tell me if they had a similar problem and maybe a way to fix it...thanks in advance

maxed out at 32 means you should always be getting hot air in the 99.. possible the "flap" that controls either cold or hot air is stuck..

There is a way to put the system in diagnostic mode. The factory service manual might have that procedure. You can verify all the sensors and step motors for all the air temp and direction control flaps.

A trip to you local Nissan service department is another choice.
