Got a code for a cylinder 3 misfire....help

I got a code for a cylinder 3 misfire. I replaced #3 fuel injector, did 1 and 5 while I was at it. Replaced spark plugs. Still getting the misfire. Coilpacks?

Check to see if you have spark at the hole, there are checkers available which can save you lots of time. You need to determine if you are losing spark or fuel. There are a lot of reasons to make a cylinder miss, but you need to determine where to start. Install a tester on the coil and see if it is firing, even simpler, move the coil to another hole and see if the miss follows. If it doesn't, you need to check the injector pulse. Also compression can play a kew factor too. Before spending any more money, take some time and check some stuff. It is alot easier and cheaper in the end. I would move that coil to another cylinder and see if the miss follows. If it does, it is the coil. If not, you just saved some money on an unneeded part. Check that and get back to us. Good luck

Oh I forgot to mention. The code I got for the cylinder 3 misfire went away after installing new injectors.....could it still be the coils?

well, the cel came back on while I was on the freeway headin to a job interview. Then everything just got worse but I was able to make it in time to the interview and then chugged it back home. So most likely the coils as all of you have said. thanks guys! Oh, anyone have a pic of where the coils are?

When coil packs go, 99.9% of the time you'll notice it when you accelerate - it's misfiring when you give it gas and idles like crap. If it just idles poorly (like mine is) then good luck figuring out what's causing the misfiring.

When my coils went last year, I just bought a bunch of used 97-98 coils.
