Anyone with Progress or Eibach springs preferably not on your car yet....could u measure the length of the front springs PLEASE
Bueller??????????/ anyone......cause i am either switching to Eibachs or getting these for the front and i need to know how long...i measure my progress on teh car but they are compressed a lil bit even with the car off the ground and i think that was 10.5" or 11"....i am jsut not sure how compressed they are just as an assembly

Spring length is irrevalant to ride height.

according to maxmods the max spring rate of eibachs is like 257 fro tyhe front...i am looking at 275 lb springs...so saying eibachs are 13" free i can prolly do an 11" or 12" long spring to find a happy medium between the drop of Eibach and Progress.....i know length is irrelvant to height...thats y i am comparing simliar rated spring lentghs...it a lil experiment i am doing
Lol! I just remembered that I had a pic stored in Cardomain. The black coil on the right is the Eibach and the one on the left is the CMS/Springtech.

^^^^ something many encounter when trying to compare is the misconception that they're the same. Like Sutter said above..Originally Posted by JSutter
You cant compare the free length, Eibachs are progressive the AFCOs are linear.
i know this....i am just trying something...the AFCOs will have to be shorter because they wont compress as much this i know...I know physics...i just needed a base number to start from
