Installed new headlights and corners *pics*

installed new headlights (black housing) and the black housing corners as well. i took the chance to replace my 9004 bulbs with new ones i bought from importkustomz. they have a slight blue tint to them. i put 1157 ambers in the corners.

they look so much better. but after driving at night, the length of the headlights are too short. the brightness seems to be equal or maybe better. can this be fixed? perhaps with re-aiming the headlights? pls direct me.

sorry for the pics being crappy. my hands were grimey and also i was late for class. started install at 6 and finished at 730 and it got pretty dark. had to break out the flashlights to finish.

the lights i got from ebay. CE sells the same **** for much more $, plus they are sold out on the black housing corners which they didnt tell me until i called 1 week later to ask them where the hell my lights were.

corners from makotoautotrends on ebay (75 shipped)
headlights from motorsporthouse on ebay (165 shipped)

motorsporthouse game me some trouble. didnt ship or anything, kind of just lost my order. after a wk i emailed him and sorted it out. the quality is the same as CE ones, only CE rips you off with horrible service.

If you didn't aim them after the install, you will more than likely need to. That should fix you up. I had to do the same thing.

You just need to turn the screws on the back of the headlight. You can see them go up or down and left or right. Car should be 25 feet away from a wall on flat surface.

Yea and I told everyone from the get go that they would suck *****. No shield and no multi parabolic reflector is a disaster. The only thing these are good for is projectors.

I recently installed these on my car. I think there's a conciderable difference in light output compared to OEM. They also give the front end a more aggressive look.

I still dont understand why no one has tried to swap the glass and oem plastic. Same housings but different reflectors on the inside....some one should try to use the glass lens in the oem housing so to keep the better reflector...you can do the AE mod while you change lens to. I would try but I dont have time and my money is going into my 00vi swap at this time.

See his lights how the sides inside are black? Yeah thats AE mod. You can do it yourself for the cost of heatproof paint or spend the $200 for the CE lights. Even tho the CE lights do have the glass lens...

Sure. The cool thing about doing the AE mod yourself is that you can use any color paint you want inside. So you could try to match your car color or something. I usually see black but doing another color might look good too.

the CE ones are the same shiz as ebay
i cant be 100% sure but im freaking 98% sure

they just charge a shizload more than others,
and i suggest you do the corners, bc they look very sexy now
i think i might go with diamond bumper lights to complete the look?

The ce ones are glass the ebay ones are plastic. I emailed the ebay guys and they all told me theirs were plastic, so that probably justifies the price difference.

Yeah the ones on ebay are the same except for the glass/plastic. So I guess that makes them different. I'm hoping to do a mod with the corners so I'm going to buy the black housing corners after I try my mod.

:edit: haha babymac beat me too it...
