Because you cant, they are different shapes. Plus these egay lights are basically the stock housing with a clear lense. They are JUNK!!! Trust me.

I think I'm just going to buy some 97-99's and black them out myself. This seems to be the only really good option for us 95-96 guys.

^^^^Better than stock. I am using Sylvania Xtravisions. I am happy with the headlights from Ebay. They look nicer and have better output. Maybe the output for 95/6 maximas is worse than 97-99, so these are better than 95/6 but not better than 97-99. I don't know for sure, but like I said, I am happy with them. They don't light up the road like HID's, but they are better than stock.
HID's are a possible future plan. I have heard on here, that HID's in these housings produce less glare. Once again, only heard, not experienced.

headlights from motorsporthouse on ebay (165 shipped)

motorsporthouse game me some trouble. didnt ship or anything, kind of just lost my order. after a wk i emailed him and sorted it out. the quality is the same as CE ones, only CE rips you off with horrible service.
i got my corners from motorsporthouse as well. there was a little delay do an address error and they failed to contact me letting me know i needed to send a addtional $15 cause i wanted them to ship to my PO box. anyway it was resolved and the quality of the product is good. About CE i wanted to purchase black hous cornes from them and they were out of stock and told me they can process the order and when they come in they can send them to me. Finally i couldnt wait and cancelled the order with CE and found them on Ebay. A few weeks later CE still charges me for the corners even though i cancelled ,when i called them up they said it was a mistake and made me wait for 3 weeks to get a refund. There customer service really does suck, I will avoid buying from them in the future.

the beam is less focused on these new lights, but they look brighter imo.

yea if u can do the 97-99 lights and pop the lens off and black them out yourself you can save some $$. but then theres time and risk involved as well. (risk is if you fu*k it up, or even something as small as a leak which will lead to moisture buildup in the housing)

Yeah well a little time and patience, you wont screw it up. It's not a hard thing....if they get water in them then you take them apart again. I opened and painted mine a year ago. A few weeks after I realized I did have a leak so I heated them up to open them again, closed them again and now they are fine.

so today i tried to reaim my headlights

i have the haynes manual and the horizontal and vertical were opposite on my aftermarket lights. i kept turning the inner one (closer to center of the car) and eventually my headlights were bulging out, so i figured out that those were the horizontal. i tried adjusting my vertical but i cant even find a decent wall to do it on. i just got em higher by eye for now. (which btw i can see the road much better now) any ideas?

Well they should be pretty low for low beams. Basically right on the ground. Otherwise it will be in uncoming traffic eyes.

I bought mine off of ebay and they are glass. Not only that they're like 3x brighter than the plastic ones; they also spread the light better and have a nice cut off. I didn't even have to reaim them with 9007 xtravisions. I would recomend them if you'd like to see at night. No need for HID's here.
