Removing the Climate Control.
Ok, sorry I have to ask this, but I need a simple description on how to remove the climate control in my 97. I am cautious about not cracking/breaking any of my nice center trim/dash, so I want to do this right. In the FAQ, there is a link, but I really dont have $7 to pay for a tutorial(nor would I want to if I had $7). If anyone could help me with a link or something that I could not find in the How-tos, FAQ or the Mod FAQs, then all help is appreciated! Thanks all!

-pop up the shifter trim. there are 4 clips total, unplug cig. lighter. if you have an auto shift it into N amd turn the trim to get it off. for a 5 spd dont bother removing the **** if its stock, its glued on. if you can get it off it helps.
-remove 1 phillips screw holding ashtray in. open it up and pull it out. unplug light.
-get a pick tool and insert it on the side of the vent/clock and pull forward. once it pops out a lil bit push it down and keep pulling forward. unplug the wires or set it on the dash.
-use an 8mm to unbolt the 4 gold screws holding in the center stack. pull the whole thing (climate control+radio+trim) out and unplug the wires.
-unscrew the phillips screws holding the climate control in. you may need to loosen others to get the unit free from the metal brakets.

wow, when i dismantled my dash it wasnt hard at all..just use your common sense and have some screw drivers in handy. but remember dont forget to remember where everything is, if you forget where you unplugged this/that wire, your in for it.
