Climate control?

I've been reading a little about the climate control. I'm curious as to what exactly the differences between the automatic climate control and the manual. I was also wondering if anyone had any pictures.

If I was looking to buy one of these cars, would the climate control be a good option to try and seek?

The difference between an automatic climate control and an manual climate control is just that.... the automatic climate control will adjust the fan speed to maintain the desired temperature you set it to (seen digitally on the screen) where with the manual climate control, you have to manually adjust the fan speeds and temperature (***** to turn, no digital display) to get the desired temperature.

It's up to you, not us to decide. You'll only find the automatic climate control (acc) on GLE's and loaded SE's models.

Personally, I think it's worth having. I have it and like it quit a a bit.

Go to cardomain and look around, you'll see more pictures than you can shake a stick at.

Thanks. I'm looking to buy a Max either at the end of this year or near my birthday (February). In my few weeks of research I've pretty much pinned down every little option that I want to try and find and hopefully, I won't have to settle for anything less.

And as far as finding the pictures (for anyone who may care to look as well), I went to the AutoTrader website and looked at pictures of GLE and GXE Maximas.

Yeah we know what they look like. I say that if you can find an ACC then go for it. It's worth it and its not a big mod or anything. Just that the digital looks nicer ya know? See what you can find.

As a side note on the subject, I have an I30 with ACC and if you look carefully at the digital display, you can see the letters "amb" althought they're not illuminated (if the sunlight hits it just right, you can see it). Does this mean there's a way to get the ACC to display the ambient temperature? I've tried everything, and it doesn't seem to do it and there's nothing about ambient temp in the owner's manual.

With regards to the third link...As an option, you could add a switch so you can do this after the 5 seconds expires. It's hokey, but it will work. I can explain more if need be. Personally though, if I was you, I'd drill the hole and add the button per the threads I linked you too. Good luck.

It's "manual" not "manuel"
GXE is the bottom trim model, hence ACC is/was never an option.
