BF Goodrich Traction T/A H

BF Goodrich Traction T/A H
I remember reading a thread last summer about these tires, someone was asking how good they were. Anyway, just bought a set of them this morning. For the 70 miles I've put on them they sure handle a hell of a lot better then the reggata 2's they replaced. Only time will tell how well they wear. Nice quiet and smooth ride too.

I deliberated ad infinitum last year between the Traction TA H-series and the Yokohama Avid H4S. I ended up with the Avids as the shop I bought them from was blowing them out as an odd size lot (215-60R15).
I am still running the OEM 15" sawblades because I think the 4x4 look is cool.
The Traction TAs may outhandle the Avid H4s, particularly in snow, (which I scarcely get any of) but Avid H4S are lighter, quieter and provide a more comfortable ride.

i bought the stock size avid v4s and i honestly hated them until i broke them in ie after sliding the rear and spinning the tires as much as possible :P auto x-ing in the streets around turns etc. they are good in rain but crap in snow.
i should have got a differnt size something with less sidewall mabe even a bit thicker.
or
i should have bought winter only tires and summer only tires
im not looking for comfort, just good auto-x and snow/rain (no autox in snow tho) tracktion at stock size (ie 16" stock SE rims).
i belive i bought the yokohama based off of what tire rack said at the time, man was that wrong to do. anyone hear of a try before you buy thing?

I'm sure you will like the traction in the next little while, lol!
I suspect I would buy snow tires in your climate.

on the other hand, i had a set of these before the tires i have now. They handled real good, and they were worlds above my potenzas i had on before in the rain.
i now moved to BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 which is alot better than the traction t/as so far.

i still have them, ive put about 20,000kms on them and they show virtually no wear. the wet traction is good and the snow traction is pretty damn good for an all season tire. Overall im happy with them, got them for a damn good price and theyve been good so far.
