Understanding an ECU code

Recently my check engine light has been on. I got it checked out and it threw Troubleshooting code P0130. It says, "The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for oxygen sensor 1 in bank 1. O2 sensor 1 is closest to the cylinder head before the catalytic converter."

Now, what problem am I looking at? Whats the way to fix it. I'm really confused. Thanx...

Reset the Code. If it comes back, have that O2 sensor replaced.

check transmission control module (TCM) and/or related wiring harness/connector.

p.s. follow forum rule (for newbie) if you can't post new thread.
