Are muffler hangers on a 5th gen muffler the same as 4th gen?

Does anyone know if I can hang a 5th gen oem muffler with its existing hangers directly onto a 4th gen without modification? I realise the piping and flange are in a different location, but are the hangers the same or different?

I have a 5.5 gen muffler on my 4th gen. I would guess that the only difference between the 5th and 5.5 gen mufflers is the tip.
The 2 rear hangers are off by a little bit (less than an inch). The muffler as I picked it up had the inlet pipe cut off about 2" before the muffler itself. I had a competent muffler guy do the whole thing in less than 1/2 hour. First using stands to position the muffler exactly where I wanted it; then fashioning and welding in a piece of exhaust pipe to join the B-pipe (cut off above the axle) to the muffler inlet; and then cutting, repositioning and welding the 2 rear hangers. The front one was OK as it was.
If you want to see how it looks, send me your email address and I'll send you back a few pictures.

Hangers are fine, but the 4th gen muffler's piping is in the center and the 5th gen's piping is on the driver side so when you get it welded make sure they make a curved pipe (from the b-pipe to muffler) or else your b-pipe will rub against the gas tank (which happened to me so I had to get it redone)
