DETAILS DETAILS! How exciting. I am so jealous of FI and 3.5 swap members. How hard was the install? Troubles? Sound clips?

Yes, if I could please.

I am not worshiping him. I just have not seen a video clip displaying the performance of a 4th gen with a SC installed. Aren't things like this what the forums are for? I have F/I, just not on my max. I was just curious to see how the Max performs forced fed.

This thing should run 0-60 somewhere around 5 sec. give or take. It just got done last night so I'm still fine tuning. but I running a vortech V2 s-trim with the stillen v-2 plate, custom 3" piping set up, 3.33 pulley (approx. 8.5-9 psi), 8:1 fmu, 255 walbro, greddy type rs bov.
It does whine a little not too loud but you can hear it. I'm still getting use to it. But it is great so far. You can't really feel any difference until about 3500 rpms or so then the boost hits and pulls HARD!!!! to redline.
install was done by someone else but I was there for most of it and it did not seem that hard but you would need to just take your time.
so for now I think I'm done moding my car.
Here's what I have........
1997 se rosewood outside
black leather w/ wood trim inside FULLY loaded ++++
q45/13" cobra BBK w/ ss lines (I do have set of new (used 5 days) 1993 300zxtt calipers and pads for sale $200+shipping save $100 from what I paid. I changed to the Q45 because of a clearance issue)
vortech V2 supercharger
stillen body kit
18"X 8"wheels
235/40/18 kumhos
eibach prokit
stillen front and rear STB
stillen rear sway bar
phantom 2 boost and fuel mix gauges
stillen exhaust
etc.........
BTW I now have 2 new axels installed!!!
So if you guys see a rosewood maxima with the "SUPERCHARGED SPEC-R" emblem on it you will know it's me and the emblems are not just for looks.

Who uses 0-60 to judge anything?

What clutch are you running with this setup?

I use 0-60 and 1/4 mile to judge. It is actually good to look at both. Quarter mile shows more mid-top end versus 0-60 showing traction and across the band in my opinion.

Isn't it quite common if you are involving yourself in illegal road activities to take off like a bat and shut it down around 50-70? I try not to haul as much *** as possible for a quarter mile in Athens and Alpharetta

0-60' is used to better see reaction time and traction
0-60mph gives you a look at low end and acceleration
...people confuse these two alot

and well 1/4 is pretty self explanatory

Have you met up with blackbeautyse97? He lives in Maryville somewhere, i rode in his s/c max, he's got the black one with the stillen body kit with 5th gen 17z, it was pretty crazy too so I know what you mean about the 0-60 thing. You still running the stock injectors? Please post a thread w/ pics in the supercharged/turbocharged section!! Congrats on the boost.

Congrats on the boost. Maintain it well, and keep and eye on your belts. Hope you have some spare ones at home or better yet in the car already just incase.

Not everyone shreds belts/pulleys. I've spent $0 to maintain it (the supercharger that is), $0 to tune. Only cost is the parts. Tuning/upgrading other parts is only necessary when you push the envelope and go beyond a 3.25 pulley IMO. The car is still hella fast and reliable with a 3.25 to 3.61 pulley. I do feel, that it is an addiction, as I've upgraded the charge pipe and BOV, and built a custom CAI, but I didn't have to......

However, I will be going beyond a 3.25 pulley and will be tuning/investing in tuning tools.

I was going to go the 3.5 route but after all that was going on with those swaps..stuff not going right, having to keep 4th gen ecu not getting the most out of it with out getting waay involved..I decided to go de-k swap, and have been toying around with the idea of s/c'ing. dunno if it will ever happen but from what ive gathered it doesnt really cost much more than 2g's to go one of the cheaper routes..its fun to think about! oh and can you hear the bov when you shift like a t/c'er? what does it feel like? all that extra power? like once the boost kicks in? I have riddin in a s/c'ed 03' gt and that was sicka fast! and loud too! is the max a lot louder?

0-60 = mag racer crap.

Traction = 60' time.

I agree with JSutter that the trap shows a good indication of power level.

first of all I'm sorry about all of the different posts but here we go
I got the supercharger and plate from him then I added new fuel managment and piping I'm not running an intercooler and he was so if you have rode with him then you know how fast it is. I havn't donated so I can't post pics on here but I will if someone will host or everyone will have to wait until my funds recover. and yes I'm still using the stock injectors with an 8:1 vortech fmu and 255 walbro if I was using anything smaller than the 3.25" pulley I would have changed the injectors and mass air.

I know you think the (black chrome supercharged spec-r emblem is ricey but it really does look good (i did it to break the soild color up a bit since I took off the pin stripe) and since no one really knows what a spec-R is (no it's not a sentra that is a spec-v but it is a nissan) it works.

and dyno, and tuning the afpr and I'm also looking into the super fmu from vortech from what I understand it is very tunable with changes in ratios for different rpm ranges.

Ive also read good things about the Vortech SFMU, you should be able to gain some by tuning with it.
Its not untill you start making more boost where you need to start really tuning, you will be needing bigger injectors by then.

my BOV is the greddy type rs so it blows off soft and into the air filter so you can't hear it at all (just a little) the intake is alot louder and much deeper under boost it sound good I think but when your not under boost it sounds almost stock. once the boost kicks in it's like a train has hit you in the back and is pushing you faster and faster it feels unstoppable all the way to redline then shift and it starts again!!! it's awsome!!!!
