yeah its definatley worth it when you compare it to buying new rims, especially if you like the 5spokes like i do. its one of the many projects on my list.

i was at autozone this afternoon and the guys were saying a bunch of ppl painted their rims with spray paint, did them right, and still have chips n ****.. i think powdercoatign is the way to go.. i think my 18's i have are powdercoated and after 2 years their brand new looking..


anyone here get a set of wheels powdercoated by sumone????

I have a freind here who powdercoated his aluminum wheels. They look awesome. I have, on the other hand, blasted primed and painted many wheels with basecoat clearcoat paint and they look equally sweet. I think powdercoat is more durable to some extent but if it does get chipped it is not repairable. I'd go with high quality paint myself. Paul
