tinted corners and turn signals

You can get the so called "JDM" black chrome bumper lights off egay. They prolly have a similar set of corner lights too. Other wise you can do a couple of things. Either tint the outside of the lights with VHT Nite Shades or you can open up the lights and paint the inside with regular black spray paint.

does anyone know if the stock headlights can be polished? i have a 97 se that looks awesome, but the headlights are scratched from over the years so they look horrible next to the corner lights and freshly painted bumper...any ideas??

Heat, a butter knife, and a bunch of patience! Heat them in yer oven at 250 for about 10-15, immediately remove them and use the butter knife to GENTLY pry apart the 2 pieces.. reheat as many times as it takes but DONT get overjealous and try to seperate them too fast or a cracked corner is what you'll be left with.. I only had to reheat once each.. these were my first corners. I have since done it to the CE custom corners too, came out sweet! Thats whats on the car now..

As for the turn signals, I did NOT open them up, I actually bought those like that (on eBay). The inner housings are already black. The headlights have been blacked out on the inner bottoms. The corners have been blacked out completely. I have changed the corners to light up at their brightest when on, and heat isnt a problem as Ive changed them to LEDs. The side markers (front and rear) are also LEDs. (fronts are a perfect color match to the corners!) My entire interior has been converted to blue LEDs, except my dome which is white LEDs, and the clock has been modified to a white display.
IF you want to change your turn signals to light constantly, you will need to use dual filament bulbs and sockets. Easy enough to do, and then just wire them up as follows: ground to factory ground, HIGH filament to factory turn signal positive, LOW filament tapped into that sides corner light positive. VOILA!
As far as whether to black out just the outer edge or the whole inner light housing, thats your call, and purely preference. I had second thoughts after I blacked out my whole housing.. but after giving it much thought, I am happy with it the way it is! When off, its blacked out. When on, the LEDs and bright setting light up more than enough. I lost NO functionality at all. Its visually appealing, to me anyways..

Besides the pumpkin, thats Digital's Cefiro Clone Mod.. you can't really tell but my corners are also painted inside and we're sort of a pain in the @ss as well haha. I've had this setup since the spring and love it.
