I've priced all the components of my future NOS setup, except the window switch and pills. First off... what the hell are pills? I think its some RPM related thing, but I really don't know. So please shed some light on this if you can. 2nd, where have you guys gotten your window switch and pills, and how much do they cost? Thanks guys.

sorry, can't help you there, don't got NOS. however, pills could be referring to the little plug in modules that autometer uses to set the rpm that the shift light will light.

MSD RPM Switch - $75
NOS RPM Switch - $150
Pack of Pills - $25

The pills have RPM numbers on them (ex. 3000 or 6000) the RPM switch has a port for two pills.. one for activate.. and one for de-activation of NOS.. my pills are 3000 on and 6200 off

Unless there is a new MSD Window Switch, you will also need to have it modified to work on the Max. I believe the cost is approximately an additional $40-$50.

I don't know about the NOS version...

What does the "modification" of the MSD switch consist of? Does anyone else know about this, as i've never heard of this before. Does the NOS brand switch need to be modified as well?

As for the GR-2s, they work ok with my GCs, but are a bit under-damped. GC's are the stiffest springs i know of for the maxima however, so if you were going with a softer spring i'd say they would work very well. With the GCs i'd say they are acceptable.
