Will I feel a difference with this?

If I connect a cone filter with a 9" element to my intake, will I 'feel' the difference, compared to the 5" element filter that it came with?

I think ur better off asking the Mitsubishi or Eclipse forum rather than us since we don't really know the workings of the Eclipse...

It can only suck in so much, IMO changing the size is not going to change anything as long as the filter flows pretty well.

That's a long @$$ filter, would it even fit in your engine bay?

depends on what else you have done in mods if just a filter its not going to make a difference

In this case, size doesn't matter. It's the temp of the air that is going in that affects performance.
