Fog Light Question

This is something I just got around to trying to fix. My passenger side fog light is cracked on the outside and the light wont turn on. I tried replacing the bulb but that didnt work either. What should I replace to get the light back in working order?

Well has there been water in there? If the light is cracked then you probably got water inside and shorted the bulb at least. Could have shorted the wires as well. It's only one that doesnt light up? If so then you might have shorted that harness.

^ You could have easily shorted the fogs but if both of them don't come on then, check the fuses for the fogs and also the relays. You can swap the relay with another one (they are all the same and just to check if it's the relay).

Thats why I asked about just one lighting up. If only one lights up then just part is shorted. If they both dont light up then the fuse is probably blown and maybe both shorted out. Details are a must here.

Wires are shorted most likely. You'll need a new harness.

Honestly I'm not sure how much it is. You can probably find one in the classifieds or from the dealer brand new. You might be able to just splice a new harness in.

Yeah don't listen to the newb. They run on one fuse...fuse is busted they both dont work. The harness is shot.

My guess it that you could splice into the exsisting wires. If that doesnt work then I'm not sure.
