The Max Has Been Raped

SO I'm having a hell of a week. First my kids Great-Grandmother passes away then I've got some harrasment thing at work because somebody was to nosey at work and listening in on my coversation with another co-worker. To top things off, I try to be a good Dad and take my kids to the State Fair in S. Carolina. Guess what happens, the mother-f*?@ers broke into my **** and stole my whole system. I mean they got tv's, PS2, Alpine Headunit, EQ, (3) amps, subs and box, cap, I-Pod, XM modules, various other things. Even some left over dynamat I had in the trunk. The f%&*ers even stole the freakin' climate control. What makes matters worse now I'm having to contend with the insurance thats telling me that they only cover up to $1000. AND---Get this--- they won't cover things like my I-Pod, PS2 and Tv's.

Go to hoeowners insurance for the tvs and ps2...even though it was in your car...its like if you insured a pinball machine, put it in your truck bed, and someone stole it...

Anyway, that really sucks, dont you hate the ****s that do this kind of stuff? It pisses me off that people are so flicking lazy and cant do crap for themselves and make themselves a living. God dang...hey, two things. If they took the climate control...(a) watch ebay for it, if it had anything recognizeable, like custom paint, etc... and (b), they knew how to get into the dash, thus, they either own or know the workings of a max.

dude, I'm really sorry to hear that. it's really ****ed up that things like this happen only to nice people. I hope you get reimbursed, but even then, it's the feeling of being violated that can never be reconciled. At any rate, take care and good luck

When I used to have a lot of stereo equipment in my car, I specifically asked my insurance agent about additional coverage, and it wasn't that much more. Came in handy since my car got broken into at school once and they took it all.

Which climate control you need, manual or automatic? I'll keep an eye out at the junkyard if you wish.

Do they have video camera's in the parking lot? It would take a long time to steal that much equipment I'm sure someone saw something. Also, what type of alarm did/do you have?

Sorry about your loss. There is a radio/manual climate control center dash unit (non Bose) for a 97 on ebay right now. Search for item 220039018822 . Or search for nissan maxima radio and scroll down. I have not dealt with the person selling the item so I can't comment on his reliability. Hope it helps.

MOHFpro90: Unfortunately I did not have home owners insurance.

jkslaughter@hot: Thanks for the info.

Maxgig: Not in the parking lot where my mother lives. But you would have figured that someone heard or saw something.

The officer handling the case gave me an update that they may have video of the punks using my credit card at a gas station.

Oh that was only a partial list, they also got cell phone, digi camera, and wallet, along with some other stuff. And yeah I know, but my mother lived there for 20+ years, hell I grew up there most of the neighbors(if not all) knew me or knew of our family, no one really expects to be stolen from in their hood, especially with family members up and down the block. But then again that was my dumb a$$ mistake for thinking I was untouchable in my hood. All I know is this, It bet' not be someone I know.

LILMAN: You know what I was weeks away from getting a alarm installed. Most of that stuff was from a previous ride that got totaled.

moogotzskillz2 & 4myswee: off Albemarle Rd, good to see QC chiming in!

The officer got back to me the video doesnot show anything outside at the pump, so its useless. But I swear that I'm gonna find someone that saw something, and it'll be on.

I didn't know SC had a state fair, I know the only time I went to the NC state fair was in somebody elses car, lol, too many experiences walking to class at NC State having people asking me for money, much less going to a fair a mile down the road with a bunch of white trash rednecks attending in their big *** trucks....

I still love Raleigh, NC tho, thats my pad
