Power loss with dual exhaust?

I've been doing a lot of searching on dual exhaust setups. One thing that came to mind is power loss. I currently have a custom made b-pipe and Greddy muffler. However, I'm taking my car to the bodyshop today. They said they wouldn't be able to make another cut out on the bumper for a dual exhaust (my muffler has a hole in it from when the hanger ripped of in a rear-end collision). If I were to get them to do it and I had a shop make a 80 series flowmaster exhaust with one muffler and two outlets, would I experience any loss of power from what I have now? I don't really notice any power loss attributed to the hole in the muffler but I did get an 0302 code for exhaust leak that went away. The car still performs like a champ despite this.

It's really for the looks. Considering that the insurance company will help fix my exhuast, I was thinking about going this route.

just stay with the single setup dude. looks nicer, dual exhaust on our car dosnt really look all that great if u ask me. and don kno if u might loose power. Depends on the size of tubing you use. might have to go wtih like 2" or something. dual exhaust 2.5 seems a bit too much flow will kill your bottom end.

Yeah if you are auto, you will probably feel the lag with a dual setup.
