strange sound

lately when I drive I here a chain-like sound from under the car. Anybody ever have this problem. I just put i new alternator in...maybe the belts are loose?

Sounds more like a loose nut or bolt and the washer is rattling around.

does it make the sound all the time or only when you accelerate?

I might have the same thing. In high RPM's I hear a rattle in the engine area.
