What's up everyone. I want to start off by saying that these forums have been of great help during the 2 years + I've had my 96 I30t. I knew I had a "rare" car when I bought it, but I didn't know the potential until I found this place and started to ... READ!

Anyhow, yesturday I went to an Infiniti dealer and leased a 2007 G35 sedan (new body). The car is simply AWESOME. I was driving my I30t today and there's just something about that car that will be with me forever regardless of what I drive in the future. I've put the I30t for sale and it's listed in the for sale forum if anyone is interested.

I just mainly wanted to say THANK YOU *everyone* for all the information, help, advice, solutions, and great personalities.

The '07 G35 Sedan does indeed have the VQ35HR inside.. me and my dad test drove one and the TQ is amazing, however they upped the HP to 306hp as expected unfortunately; that kind of disappointed me.

Anyhow, thanks for staying with us man.

I swear if anyone other than a girl gets it on here and I get wind of it, I'll personally drive up and slap the **** out of them.. Essentially it's a Nissan copy of the G35c made cheap and FWD (of course those two could go hand in hand). = Really FAWKIN stupid!!

They have a new stricter application in rating horsepower and torque. The 2007 G35 rated in the old application would run around 314-315 horsepower. Pretty good upgrade for a 32k 4 door sedan which can run the quarter in 13.9 seconds.

well I figured it was possible that SAE changed the standard again.. but if thats true then that's even better. So in essence I was right when I told ppl to expect around 315hp and much more TQ due to the new symmetry.

This is a total hijack and I apoligize.. Im gone.
