ECU Question

I dont know if you guys remember that I started a threard about my damaged ECU about a couple weeks ago.. Well my CEL came back on AGAIN!! Im the one that did the self diagnosis test and took it past stop... Well, i did the self test again and it came with code 0503, 0304, then..... 0505... The codes are Front Right heated 2 sensor.. Which I just got replaced like 3 weeks ago. Knock sensor.. Which I thought trips when o2 sensor trips.. then 0505 is no failure detected... How does that make sense?? Is it because I messed up my ECU? Cuz instead of goin clockwise and counter-clockwise, I had to just find a spot just to reset the ECU... So im guess its really messed up. Would this ECU from ebay be a good replacement??

help..... im in desperate need of help! o yeah, i have a 96 auto

See if you can find out the p/n to verify that it is out of a 96-auto.

Should be something like:
A18-C85-EY1
A18-C85-EX9
A18-E66-EZB

There are a few others.

this is what the guy responded back to me with...

"Hello,
The part number is hard to read due to being worn. The numbers that I can read are as follows, A18-C85-CX9???. That is all I can make out. The VIN is JN1CA21D6TT160168. Hope this helps. Thanks for looking. Rod"

That should be A18-C85-EX9.

That VIN is for a 96 GLE with AT manufactured 02/96.

You should have no problems with that ecu assuming it was working when it was removed from the donor car.
