My pass side automatic doof lock is messed up. Seems like its binding up somewhere. I'm trying to take off the panel and I can't get it off. I got 3 screws off and the panel seems loose enough to come off but the plastic piece that goes around the door handel + lock is holding the panel on and I can't get it off. It seems like it snaps on/off but I can't get it to snap off even when I pried and pulled like hell on it. Any advise I would really appreciate because this door lock thing is driving me crazy.

 

door handle trim needs to be popped out. Screws on the door and in the grab handle part. Then you should pop the door off. You need to get that handle trim out, but be careful it breaks real easy.
