just emailed one of the guys and asked what bulbs it uses. his response was...
"You could be able to use the stock light bulbs on this item.

thanks"

so either he doesnt know what he is talking about, or one of those chambers are left empty. maybe possible to fill it with an extra highbeam bulb. who knows.

Read my post as well. 9005 is likely for the low beams, but I'm guessing since these are designed for our cars, the corner light will use the same bulb and functional identically to the way ours does.

So......... if our cars have a 2 headlight system (1 bulb with dual filiment) how are we gonna hook up a 4 headlight sstem (single filament bulb for high & one for low)???

The sellers are saying the headlight uses our stock lighting. So do we plug our 9004 biulb in the low beam and have a bulb in the high beam that doesnt work?

I would ask the seller these questions as well as pics of the back of the light.

IF everything does work out these light are the ****

Seems as though either he's lying, or he's including a plug-and-play light harness for us to use, or something. I guess we'll just have to see when these few first people starting getting theirs in the mail.

Personally, I wouldn't mind doing a tiny little bit of wiring work to have separate low and high beam, but I know a lot of people are going to be lazy or just plain unknowledgable or unskilled.

I want to see pics of the back too. I would be very surprised if they fit properly...I mean how the heck do you get the 2 bolts to go into the side of the headlamp housing? It must use an alternative method for it to be secured correctly.

I am not sure though if I would have the guts to hack these things up and slap 2 projectors in them right away (1 halogen, 1 xenon), though there is no doubt in my mind that this is the perfect housing to do that with.

It doesn't matter much if the inner lens is a hi beam or not, if it isn't you can easily make it one by using an aftermarket bulb harness. Just cut the aftermarket harness hi beam wire and wire it to the bulb. I want to see these on someone's car though to see the fitment. Don't you hate when you ask an ebay seller a simple question and it comes back in caveman or space cadet form?

LOL PWNED ON EBAY^ Thats all the time....You're better off getting it yourself and doing a trial & error then asking the seller....

Customer
" Is this headlight a direct fit, or do I need to modify some things?"
Seller
" It fits 95-99 Nissan Maxima GXE SE GLE GTR and TYPE SE-R. We ship to 50 states"
WTF?! 0_o

lol

my gut tells me that the back is based off the cefiro lights, and that this WILL NOT be a simple plug and play. unless someone finally made a true one piece headlight with no adjustments needed. that includes the bulbs.

At least the corners look like they will be flush with the fenders, unlike cefiros which do not fit flush with Maxima fenders, only i30.

I could give a damn if the eBay seller knows what he is talking about, they made a NEW product for our cars. I am sure ewuzh will provide information and pics when he gets them.

I think I just got a FedEx ship notification out of California...These guys do not even list what company they are with or what it is but that's the only thing I've ordered from that state.

When I get mine I'll install one of the lights afterwork and take some 7mp pics before I send over to Seattle to be dual-lens retro'd with TSX projectors...

He has no idea what he's talking about then, probably. Either that or he meant 9005 and 9006 and typed it wrong.
