Help Please: Trunk lid needed!!!
I just got taken really badly at the local junkyard. I bought a rear trunk lid and it was just the right color and year for what I needed. The vehicle it came from was T-boned. I would have never thought that this could have affected the mounting area of the trunk lid and made an otherwise great piece completely unusable. Not only did it cost $300, but now I can't even mount my old one properly because it bent one of the mounting bars. The junkyard will only exchange the part... But that does me no good when they don't have another identical one.
To make matters worse, this is my daily driver.
I am now at a complete loss for words... SIGH!!!
If anyone has a '99 gold trunk lid w/spoiler that they could part with, please let me know. I've already lost $300 on this horrible deal... So any deals that someone may have would be great. I have very little money left thanks to this local junkyard.
Donations would be great!!!
p.s. Anyone needing a '96 gold trunk lid without a spoiler, shoot me an offer. I'll be selling mine soon.
Thanks,
Eric G.

I have been screwed so many times on this car. I ended up having to buy a motor ($3,000) 8 months after buying the stupid thing. I prolly have about $14,000 in this car and it doesn't look it. I'm tired of my car looking like a beater when I have some much f..king money in it! It is a GXE BTW. This damn car has bled me dry.

I replaced the motor about two years ago. I checked with everyone in town and the going rate was $2,600-$4000. I chose the cheapest of the ones
I found.
